Nigerian-born, UK-raised, and shaped by a West African upbringing, Jay brings a distinctly global visual language to every frame. With a background in architecture, his approach to cinematography is structural, intentional, and deeply aesthetic.

Over 8+ years and 1,200+ completed projects, Jay has built a reputation as one of Canada's sharpest creative directors — spanning music video direction, brand campaigns, and high-output YouTube channel production as Senior Editor at Creator's Mill, Ottawa.

As Senior Editor, Jay leads production for The Space Race and The Tesla Space — two YouTube channels with a combined 1.2M+ subscribers.

Jay is also a proud mentor at the AfroCulture Initiative's Cultivating Legacy program, giving back to the next generation of Black and African creatives in Canada.
